A Virgina man was arrested for allegedly fatally capturing his friend who he mistakenly imagined was an intruder, a report explained.
Matthew Allen Sharpf, 37, was billed with voluntary manslaughter for the Tuesday loss of life of 37-calendar year-old pal Jonathan Hankins, WRIC reported, citing the Dinwiddie County Sheriff’s Business office.
Hankins confirmed up at Sharpf’s property in Dinwiddie County at about 10:55 p.m. and with no asserting himself was going to knock on his friend’s door to wake him up, authorities claimed.
Sharpf, considering any person was seeking to crack into his home, then allegedly shot Hankins on the porch, the report explained.
Authorities reported Sharpf’s family members was sleeping at the time.
Following the capturing, Sharpf’s spouse called 911.
